Rigid flexible (Starrflex) PCBs are circuit boards consisting of a combination of flexible and rigid circuit boards. The rigid areas serve as a solid base for the components, while the flexible parts establish the connection between the rigid parts. This saves plug connections and allows for smaller circuit boards.
